O/T Headlines from 2035

1. Iraq Still Off Limits; Physicians estimate it will take at least ten more years before radioactivity decreases to safe levels.

2. 35 Year Study: Diet and Excersie are the keys to weight loss.

I stole these from a local union newsletter. Feel free to chime in with some of your own.

Re: O/T Headlines from 2035

Hummer just announced its new Model for '35 : The H23 - some of the main features are on-demand 4wd during a rainstorm when you are attempting a speed bump in a mall parking lot, shopping cart avoidance systems, videophone and vending machine on-board, it has the option of the larger 4cyl tofu turbo. This model also has a incorporated the new trail difficulty warning light, pioneered by Dimler-Chrysler in the 2031 Jeep NJ (No J). The trail difficulty dash light will let the driver know if there is a obsticle ahead that is beyond the capabilities of the vehicle or the driver. The new H23 is less confusing than the Jeep counterpart, it flashes its warning when it encounters any unpaved surface. Reports of the Warning light flashing when pebbles or a plastic bag are in the road are false, though Hummer warns to be extra careful when in those situations are they are not covered by warranty and may couse damage to the vehicle.

Re: O/T Headlines from 2035

Much speculations about the re-election of President Jenna Bush in '36. Will Jenna be the first Bush to finally be elected to a second term?

Sorry Thor, GPS tracking satellites began shutting down any vehicle attempting to venture off-road back in 2014.

Re: O/T Headlines from 2035

Diemler Chrysler is bringing the Jeep look back with the new Mini Mog.

They will introduce this new old look to appease the vintage Jeep crowd that have long since left the Jeep community for other 4x4 vehicles as Diemler stretched and widened the little Jeeps till they resembled the SUV's used around town as daily drivers.

Re: O/T Headlines from 2035

30 years after a revolution ensued from the election of president john kerry, liberals still hide in fear of retribution for the socialist programs they tried to install. Ted "It's all just water under the bridge" kennedy is beleived to still be in hiding in one of the old "prohibition era" safe houses that made his family ritch. Whyners still decry the assasination of diane feinstein(or feinswine which ever you prefer), and chuck shumer. W.J. Klinton(on his death bed due to venerial desease) still refuses to tell the truth about anything. Thanks to those brave people who stood up for what was right, personal responsibilty, property rights and the constitution were restored to AMERICA.

Crowd gathers to salute King J. Kerry. Kerry's best friend and advisor, Director of All People, Saddan Hussein, jokes about a mistake Kerry made a few years ago when he accidenttally told the truth about something. Kerry quickly promised not to do that again.
