How? ---> Cold air intake for CJ with a Howell FI

All of the cold air intake kits made for the CJ or any Wrangler mount to the Jeep intake or carb (small diameter).

I am looking for a kit (or ideas on how to make my own) to take the intake from the Howell FI (5 1/8" diameter typical GM) over the engine to the other side of the compartment, and hook it to a cone filter behind a shield of some kind.

Any ideas I'd love to hear it. I've heard of some people using flex pipe or PVC pipe, I'd like to see some pictures of these (how do you mount to carb and cone filter for example).

Thanks

Kit wise you could look at ones made for a first get S10 with 4.3TBI and see if that will work.
