Got the new Andy Truck

I finally have a new tow rig so i don't have to tow with the stupid xj any more. I picked up a 1990 3/4 4x4 chevy pickup today. It's got a 350, sm465, only 123k and i got it for the lump sum of 1500. I think i got a great deal sinc the body is solid with rust really only in the cab corrner, a little bit of the rockers, and the rear fenders. It ran great on the 7 hour trip home from minnesota. That truck pulls like a mother going up hills i was easily acceleration up them at 75 and gaining speed. I can't wait to hook up a trailer and see what this thing does. I'll post pictures tomorow and will probably start a tow chev project post some where covering all the stuff i do to it (not a whole lot hopefully, just maintinance, trailer brakes, cb, k&n). This truck is pretty nice and staying that way, this thing is a 100% improvment from my last pos.

Re: Got the new Andy Truck

Sounds like a great buy - something that you can use for transportation instead of mechanic's training!
