Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

I took the wifes Srcambler to a local campground for a mud run... I screwed up big! I was in the first class and we done the run with ease and my time was 4.5 seconds and everyone was complaining so I gave up the $105 purse and said fine lets do it again!(my bad) I figured with beating everyones time by at least 3 seconds I could do it again even if they did make the mud deeper.
Well as I dumped the cluth I heard a snap and about half way down it started slowing down and didn't even notice I had no mud flying off the front. Needless to say when, When I dumped the clutch the passenger side hub exploded!!!!
So now the question! Anyone here have a hub laying around that will fit my wifes 82 Scrambler with a D30 front?? I would just buy new and better but their is kind of a money issue since a gave up the purse! Just looking for something used and cheap to get her jeep back to her!!!
If I ever run into that again, Im going to take the money and run!!!!! Oh yah and buy the way I still made it through the second time in two wheel drive with a time of 9.2 seconds!!!!! at least I didn't have to get pulled out!!!
If anyone might have a hub, I'll take it off your hands for you!!!!!

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

I did a search on ebay for Dana 30, here are the results . There is seller in these results that has stripped down a dana 30 and is selling the parts individually. I think the Dana 30 parts are going to go for CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ebay

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

I've got a spare superwinch hub I bought for $5. PM me an address and I'll get it out monday. I'm a few weeks away from swapping in a dana 44 so I don't need a spare anymore. I also twisted my front driveshaft and am not having another made till after the swap anyway.

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

Here's the one I have. Sorry for the fuzzy front picture though. It looks to be in good shape.

I got my dana 44's removed from my cherokee chassis today. Time to get serious about swapping them in with the coil suspension.

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

It looks great to me!!! I picked up an 86 wagoneer with front and rear D44's,360 , and a 727 tranny about a month ago for a $100 and it does run. She's up for letting me swap the D44's in this winter when all it does is sit in the shop anyway.
WILL have you heard of a clocking adapter for the D300 case so you can swap it to Driver side drop??? It suppose to allow the T-case to mount upside down so you get the driverside drop. Id rather keep the D300 if it is possible!!!

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

It is called a "Flip Kit". I believe there are more manufacturers of it than this one, but you will need to do a search to be sure.

DEO Flip Kit

Re: Im desperate!! Need some help guys!!

unless you make your own flip kit (search on pirate for $20 dana 300 flip) it would be a lot cheeper to just buy a front end with the right drop. There's other hassels with swapping drops besides the t-case (exhaust, breathers, ect.). I can't remeber the year they went to vaccum disco fronts though make sure you don't have one in that '86. You might get lucky and be able to trade your 44 for one with the right drop.
