O/T A clip from UROC Badlands - nice flop!

OK, I promised some video... had some issues with software and ... whine whine whine (nevermind).

Here's a clip of the "Modified" points leader after the competition was over (all for fun or the camera, who knows). But if this don't make you pucker....

Mike Cole

This is a ~ 3.7M file... don't try it with dialup. Latest updates to your Windows Media Play suggested.

No he didn't make it up that, but I'm thinking he liked it.

If you would like more info on Mike Cole or other UROC Teams look here.

UROC

Follow the link above and click on "Modified", for more on Mike Cole click on "Team 94" (current points leader) or if you would like, check out 7th place "Team Space Ghost Badlands Offroad"

I know my cj will never be that nice, but my goal is to have it take a roll over that well. Just keep on going.... Wish we would have made it.

WOW ! That is one rugged Jeep, and one tough driver. He just kept on trying like it wasn't even a bid deal.
It doesn't even look like the jeep suffered any damage at all.

Very cool clip.

Is that a fire extinguisher that goes flying out the back of the Jeep?

Actually that is a YJ, was still sporting the funny looking head lights and grill at the start of the season. Was wearing a fiberglass replica grill and hood at Badlands (minor damage during that flop).

They get down to very simple with lots of stock parts tossed out and replaced by some serious welding (like motor/transmission/transfer mounts). Minor damage to the new grill as mentioned above. Yep he's a pretty tought driver too, remember he's flopped more times then anyone wants to count.

Yep that's what it was. They are required to have two onboard.

Just for the record Mike tried to get up that for about ten minutes and the flop was in the middle. Also please remember that this was not during the competition but was mostly for show (ESPN Cameras). Looked like he was about to flop again several times before and after he did. I'm thinking he knows what that rig will take without breaking and might have been pushing it just a little. He had a big smile as he headed for his trailer cause nothing broke and he won. Glad you enjoyed the clip, I have more to come.

Very cool!! I love seeing a jeep that can take a good beeting and keep on going.. I spent some time a little while back on the UROC Video Gallery and the best one I found was 'Over Easy'.. Just pick that, then your internet speed, (Dial Up = Slow, DSL or Cable = Fast).. The Jeep at the end, that launched into a back flip is quite entertaining ..

So you folks like the flops huh.... Here's one from the same weekend by Mike Smythe.
Mike Smythe
Warning - big file 6.8M.

And then sometimes you get away without the flop, tell me this one doesn't make for even more pucker.
Mike Smythe again
Warning - big file 4.3M.

I have lots more....
