Temporary closing of Rattle Rock trail

Got this email the other day...for those of you that hang out at Windrock, this is info you need.

> I just got off the phone with Chuck Whicker (land manager for Coal Creek Mining and Manufacturing Company that owns Windrock) and he asked me to get the word out: Because of road work and having to transport the windmills to the top of the mountain, Trails 14, 15, and RATTLE ROCK will be CLOSED AUGUST 1 through OCTOBER 1. Sylvie Gap (where trails 3, 6, & 7 come together at G2) will be open so you can get around the mountain, more or less. I know it's an inconvenience, but that's what was handed down and we'll have to roll with the punches! We need to get the word out so that anyone planning on riding Rattle Rock that may be traveling from afar can make other arrangements before they get down here and get disappointed. Please help spread the word! Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience! *Adrienne Hall
