Vacuum parts

Im looking fir a good place or online store that sells anything and everything vacuum for a 78 cj7 with a 304 or 360 V8.
Local auto parts stores dont carry some things I need and dealer stopped making some parts a LOOOOoooNG time ago. Any info would be very helpful.

Re: Vacuum parts

Mostly vacuum and vapor valves.
There's one line that comes off the charcoal canister, its green and turns into a metal line and ends up hooking up to some type of valve that is busted and I can't identify. It' mounted right next to the liquid check valve on the undernearth of the back driver's side fender.
My diagrams only show me how the line starts from the charcoal canister and says 'to f/tak' whatever the hell that means. At first I thought fuel tank=f/tak but I don't think so.

Re: Vacuum parts

the canister either vents to the fuel tank or to the carb.

Re: Vacuum parts

as YJOwnr22 said abount venting...take a look here - evap. canister

Looking through here might help you ID what you are looking for

as for looking for parts, there are tons of mfg.s - let your keyboard do the typing (however if you don't know of any, let the board know and someone will point you in the right direction)
