OT - Budget Boost for a Toyota Sienna MiniVan

To get all four of us, our bikes and our camping gear the Jeep just does not have the space. We replaced the old Plymouth minivan with a new Toyota Sienna a few months ago and now we are ready to use it for the summer.

When we purchase and install a Class 3 hitch (installed the Hidden Hitch last year on the Jeep) to carry the four bikes, it looks like we will drag if we hit even a small pothole. So the question is, could I install a 1 to 2 inch Budget Boost type lift system on to a minivan? Most of my searches keep turning up lift kits for the Tacoma, so where could I look for some help on this idea?

I know the best solution is to just put the bike rack on the back of the Jeep and tow the Jeep but any other suggestions would help.

You could have an extension bent up that comes out of the receiver hitch and then angles up a bit to give you more clearance under the bike tires, if the springs are not bottoming out. If the springs are bottoming, a budget boost wouldn't help much anyway.

Another thing would be air shocks, but those always end up riding like crap.

Air bags would be the correct way to lift it back up, but they are rather pricey for my taste.
