Fresh Canvas and need ideas what to do....

Guys,
I have had my wrangler for 2 years now and the warranty is finally gone. Now i think it is time to start doing some mods to it. My previous wrangler, 90 yj, i added a skyjacker lift and 31" wheels with new rims. Looked nice and didnt mind the ride but had to sell due to finances. I now have a 2001 TJ wrangler sport. It is automatic with the 4.0.
I would like to add a moderate lift 2.5-4in but i am not sure what manufacturer to go with or which kit. I would like to put the biggest tires i can on without sacrificing to much power or more importantly, speed. This is 95% on road/highway so i need something dependable for speed but still trail worthy. I mainly do mud and logging trail type terrarin. I am think 31x12.5 is probaly the biggest tire i can go to with stock gearing without to much speed reduction.
But i am not sure about the lift, or the wheels (size or offset). I would like to keep this under 2000.00 if possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. You cna email me at [email protected] .
Thanks
Willie
