I found one!

When I met most of you guys at the Bash. I think it was CJ that had this nifty little tool for pulling out the valve core stem. After searching at all the parts stores except for two, I finnally found it at NAPA. $5.00. Also if you guys and girls are interested, Harbor Freight in Mishawaka has front tow hooks (chrome plated) for $10.00 a pair. Bolt right on to my TJ bumper. By the way the other one was CarQuest. And not only that, but he had a "special" pressure guage too.

Re: I found one!

And to think they sale packs of 4 (that also double as valve stem caps) for $1.79 at most convenient stores. Hopefully for 5 bones you got the type that has a tap & die for the inner/outer stem!

Hmm no, it is the Screw Driver type.... much faster.

But I did have him covered with that tool too... and actual valves if lost (in the mud, muck).

On the strange chance that the pressure guage seems out of whack... Dirt Dog will fix it.

Re: I found one!

My valve core puller was from wally world and was $2 or $3 with 4 extra valve cores now if i could just remember where i put those extra valve cores. Sounds like your starting to get your wheeling stuff together. I'm thinking about going back to the badlands some time in the next week or 2 if anybody wants to go.

I'm thinking we are pretty close in age.... Must be why I had those extra valve cores huh.

Andy, I'll pull out a valve core and hand it to ya faster than you can dig through your rig and find one.

Anyone coming to Badlands should drop me a line... I may not be able to make it but will come out if I can. And there's a UROC event coming soon, not great for wheeling but lots of fun watching.

Note to self: Post up the UROC Badlands Event !

Re: I found one!

Mine lives in my center councle so it's pretty easy to find unless some one borrowed it and not returned it. It's only a couple seconds more, it's still a ton faster than pushing in the valve core, and i still havn't aired up my tires. I'm pretty sure i'm going to go this weekend if i don't go this weekend i'll go next weekend.
