Duraspark upgrade?\'s

Hey there

Did a Search because I believe it has been addressed but no success so here goes.

Is there an upgrade to get rid of this *^&% duraspark module under my wiper res? It goes bad about every year which isnt too horible since its a 23 dollar part but it always happens to go bad at the wrong time. I have "STILL" a howell Fi kit in the garage waiting for install so that would need to be a Concern as well. A link or a point in the right direction would be great thanks all

Re: Duraspark upgrade?\'s

do a search on HEI conversion as well, there is a very simple way to dispose of the DS box and run an HEI module mounted external and wired to the coil and dist. i have a diagram somewhere, but cant seem to locate it right now, guess i need more coffee...

Re: Duraspark upgrade?\'s

I bypassed the module completely (I didnt remove it in case the MSD fails on the trail)

Here is what I did

So far so good for 3 years now and no problems, not to mention it runs great!
