12mm Bolt For Motor Mount on 4.0L Swap

I know the rear hole for the driver's side motor mount is 12mm fine thread but I can't get a 12mm bolt to fit. I tried both 1.5 and 1.25 fine threads but the hole is pretty rusty and the threads are gunked pretty bad (even more so now that I tried to jam the bolts it!).

Anyways, I have access to hundreds of 9/16" fine thread taps and the proper pilot hole for the tap is 1/2". However, after the threads are cut, this would be a little bigger than the 12mm hole and I don't wan't to drill into the oil passages in the block. What did you guys use and/or do you think the casting is thick enough for the slightly larger hole?

Thanks in advance - I think it will be fine and am just having some pre-install jitters. I just inspected the bottom end of the engine and everything lools great so I don't want to screw it up.:bangtard:

I also have a bunch of 1/2 - 20 taps as well so here's some more tap info:

12mm - 1.25 tap requires 10.8 mm (67% probability of thread) or 27/64 (72%) hole

1/2 - 20 tap requires 11.4 mm hole (74%) or 29/64 (67%)

9/16 - 18 tap requires 1/2 (82%) or 33/64 (60%) hole
