Re: tire sipping tool

I have grroved and siped different tires, and own a groover, but not local to you.
You may want to check with who you got your tires through befor siping them, since I have been told and heard of other people siping MT/R's and goodyear wont warranty them. A friend had bought some at Discount tire and they sold him on siping them, he had to return one for warranty, Goodyear said no because siping voids the warranty, but Discount replaced it since they had sold him on the siping.
Just something to check into

Re: tire sipping tool

I have an "Ideal Heated Knife". Cost about $50. I haven't done any siping with it yet, but I plan to when I get soe time. Did a good bit on grooving with it to make hummer tires work decent on jeep.

I drew in what I've changed since this pic. This is what I call Goodyear Rock Tire II.
