Will it rub? 8\" wheels, 33x12.5 tires, 4.5\" BS

I tried searching for this but didn't find a definitive answer. I want to run a Teraflex 3T 3" lift on my TJ but don't want the 33X12.5 tires to stick out any further than they have to. I read in JP magazine that Currie reccomends 4.5 inches of backspacing on 15" wheels. I have read 3.5 to 4" elsewhere. I don't want to order new wheels only to find they rub on the rear coil buckets or front lower control arms. I am not too concerned about rubbing on the flares. Does anyone run this combo on their TJ? How does it fit? How far does the tire stick out? I know that I will have to adjust my steering stops. Once again, thanks for the info.

The best bet would be to hit the dealer up to mount a pair and place them on the Jeep to get a feel for how they will fit. In most cases that is very exceptable to do to make a sale. I have done this at Discount tire several times over the years with different vehicles.
