The 2A is finnaly home

While I was gone at training getting the crap shocked out of me the wife came through for me....

When I get home she orders me to the grage to drink a beer and wind down... I gladly go, but notice she is following me... When I get to the door I see why.... There sits my CJ2A
I had been trying to get it home for months, but have been working my ass off and having a kid does not help.... SO it is finally in the garage. the tranny seems locked up right now, but the oil does not look near as bad under a light. so maybe the old l head is salvageable. I need to get it pushed to the back of the garage cause I got a side job coming in theis weekend. Well just wanted to brag. There is a ton of work to do, but I am pretty much home bound except for work...

Pictures, please.
Congrat's. That thing has taken a long time to make it the block to your house. You've been talking about it since a week after it rolled off the assembly line.

I bet it is, those engines are tough little buggers. They can take some abuse and even more neglect, and still come back to life. Does it turn over at all?
l may have missed a previous thread but....what are your plans for the little Jeep?
....and just based on this, l'd have to agree with DirtDog, your wife rocks.

Oh,,,and just a reminder....pic. pic. pic. pic. pic.

Patty had better be getting some very nice roses tomorrow, Jeff.
Let me know if you need any help with anything. I'll even bring my own ratchet(s).
