O/T: Blame Bill....

Let's see if I understand how the world works lately...

If a man cuts his finger off while slicing salami at work,

He blames the restaurant.

If you smoke three packs a day for 40 years and die of lung cancer,

Your family blames the tobacco company.

If your neighbor crashes into a tree while driving home drunk, he blames the bartender.

If your grandchildren are brats without manners,

You blame television.

If your friend is shot by a deranged madman,

You blame the gun manufacturer.

And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill the pilot at 35,000 feet, and the passengers kill him instead, the mother of the crazed deceased blames the airline.

I must have lived too long to understand the world as it is anymore.

So, if I die while my old, wrinkled butt is parked in front of this computer,

I want you to blame Bill Gates...okay?

Re: O/T: Blame Bill....

Does seem to be a sad world we live in today doesn't? As long as we don't become one of the above mentioned type, we can try to instill better values for the next generations.

But I agree, you could definitely blame Bill Gates and your kids could get some of his fortune

Move to Canada.

Were responsible... to a degree, for our own actions.

I'm not ready to believe that the Official Curmudgeon could have such a cute granddaughter. Who is she really?

Re: O/T: Blame Bill....

It's just so much easier to blame someone else for your screw ups than to accept that you could be to blame......

It's a sad thing... I'm glad my parents didn't instill those ideas in my head, and my daughter certainly won't learn that from me.

Re: O/T: Blame Bill....

Dang I thought this was going to be something else I could blame Bill Clinton about!
You are right though, it is entirely to easy nowadays to get a lawyer and blame someone else and actually get money for it.
It is a bad sign when the Attorney section of some phone books is bigger than some small town phone books.
Make the world a better place, send a lawyer to space.

Re: O/T: Blame Bill....

I followed Holley's instructions for my pro-jection and have a burned exhaust valve probably from running too lean. Can I blame Holley or is that one my fault?
