I like the revolver shackles only on the REAR. probabley going to need long travel drive shaft, longer brake line, longer shocks, remove track bar if you have one, and any kind of stablizer- equalizer bar.

If you have them and like them, you are the first person to post that here. The others that have tried them got rid of them.

I too like them in the rear (that doesn't sound right). I had them in the front, but when the bushings fail, your steering really goes in the toilet.

Re: What does everyone think of tera flex shackles?

The problem is that they will let the axel drop farther, but there's no weight on the wheel except its own and half the axel, so the extra flex doesn't give any significant extra traction.

On the other hand the axel is less securely located, so it can wobble around which can cause handling and stability problems.

A lot of money for insignificant upside and variable downside.

Re: What does everyone think of tera flex shackles?

They are expensive for a set of shackles which typically cost about $2.00 per side to make.
They unload almost commicly on steep climbs.
They unload annoyingly on steep side hills.
They unload dangerously on steep descents.
They give up most of the bennefit of leveraged downforce of a straight axle through deep contoured terrain.

So other than the fact that they suck going uphill, downhill, sidehill and straight and they cost a lot,...they are great!

About the only way to improve articulation is to go with the coil suspension.
