O/T Sheet metal workers \"bag of lead\"

My bro gave me a couple of books on bodywork and sheet metal work, and one of the tools in there is a leather bag full of lead shot, that is used for shaping the sheet metal. Does anyone have any idea on where to get one of these, or do I find someone locally to make it.

TIA

That's it. The book I have has it filled with lead shot, but sand makes sense. Thanks much.

Probably made by the fine folks that brought us the "Bag of Broken Glass" and the "Bag O' Sulphuric Acid"

I don't exactly find this to be off topic. Anyone out there have a Jeep that needs no body work???

Guess it's a hard call sometimes.

It's all good.....

I have seen the bag o lead for real. A buddy of mine makes amazing shapes using one of those. The one I just looked up in the eastwood catalog says fill with sand, so I guess you get the bag and fill it with your choice.

If you would like I will ask my buddy where to get one.

Yeah, if you could check with him, that would be great. Maybe ask him if the Eastwood one is good. I looked in my book, and it looks like it is a heavier leather than the eastwood one. Not like I am opening a shop, just something I saw and thought would be fun to teach myself to do.

TIA
