CJ TO YJ BODY SWAP

I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF SWAPING MY OLD RUSTED cj BODY FOR A YJ BODY. I HAVE THE CJ OFF AND AM GETTING READY TO REPLACE ALL THE HEATER DUCT WORK UNDER THE COWL. DO I NEED TO REPLACE THIS WITH THE OLD CJ OR CAN I ADAPT IT TO THE YJ EASY ENOUGH? I'M OKAY ON THE DEFROSTER VENTS NEEDING HOLES CUT IN THE TOP OF THE DASH COWL.

SO FAR THIS HAS BEEN RELATIVILY AN EASY PROJECT.

Re: CJ TO YJ BODY SWAP

I can't really help you much, other than to say PLEASE STOP YELLING. Also, it'd be greatly appreciated if you finished filling your profile out. Maybe atleast with your first name. And BTW - Welcome to the board.

Re: CJ TO YJ BODY SWAP

Use the CJ stuff. The YJ uses different hook-ups as well as some vacuum stuff.

Re: CJ TO YJ BODY SWAP

Thanks, it was actually easier than I thought it would be. I did use the CJ stuff and everything fit fine.

Down to mounting the YJ tub on the CJ frame now. Can't wait to start driving it again!
