Quick waggy 44 ubolt size question

I am just wondering if anyone knows the size of the front spring ubolts needed for a waggy dana 44? I am using my CJ springs if that helps, I am not at home and would like to get the ubolts ordered. I know they are wider for the 44 then my previous bolts for the dana 30.

How about for a AMC 20 HD out of a waggy, I think this axle has thicker tubes then my 20, but not sure if this will change the ubolt size.

thanks
Tony

Re: Quick waggy 44 ubolt size question

I need the height of the bolt, the width of the between the threaded surface( the axle tube diameter) and the size(diameter) of actual threaded stock.

thanks

Re: Quick waggy 44 ubolt size question

Waggy 44s use 3" tube and 9/16" bar stock for the U-bolts.

If you're using the perch that's built into the outboard side of the differential housing, you need a U-bolt with a greater spread. I don't remember what that size is. If you need it, let me know and I'll go crawl under.

My rear wagoneer dana 44 was 2-3/4" tube. I don't know about the front or AMC 20 though.
