name that part II

I found another part on my Jeep that I would like to know what it is and what it does. Thanks in advance.

Re: name that part II

Not too familiar with the 4-banger, but it looks like an oil pressure sending unit?

My God man its your Magnetic Declinator and its unplugged! I'd get it plugged in fast before the magnetic field destablizes and turns your Jeep into a giant refridgerator magnet.

Actually now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it the oil pressure sending unit.

Re: name that part II

That not only looks like an oil sending unit, it actually is the oil sending unit. Your wiring harness should have a funky round connector with a spade terminal in the middle of it.

Wow, I looked at mine and yours is way cleaner. I don't think I'd recognize mine if I didn't know what it was. Yep, it is what they said it is.
