Those look sweet, but I know they aren't exactly cheap. But I'm glad they added it. Actually more suprised. I would think the sales numbers would have to be small. (thinking in the big picture)

Yea I dont think they will be to cheap, I know what your talking about though I wouldnt think the demand would be to great. I think I may get one after I get back from my deployment unless I hear something negative about them.

i wouldn't mind that for a belated birthday present take a look at the prices an their SBC setup like that and figure this one will cost more since it is new and AMC/Jeep.

Aaron, google "national debt". I'm sure it's close to that.

Without looking I'm going to guess it's 2 large for the complete system. More than my Jeep is worth.

Re: New Edelbrock Carb for AMC V-8

I had seen this before a few months ago and it never listed a price then. I also read in Jp page 21 that it'll be available in June of this year. It looks great, but they don't list it as fitting a 304 and I wonder why. My guess was because its a 4bbl intake and would be too much airflow for the 304 but in reality I have no friggen idea cause I don't know much about engine performance.

It does look sweet though.......and I'd love it. I bet it could double my fuel milage.

Re: New Edelbrock Carb for AMC V-8

Would be fun on top of the 360 I have on a stand (not rebuilt yet).

If you think about it the only thing different from a SBC setup is the manifold mounting and maybe some minor routing or bracket change. Edelbrock has been making the 4 Bbl manifolds for both for many years. So I am hoping they don't get crazy with the price.

Someone suggested looking at what the SBC version costs. So I looked it up on Jegs.... not as bad as I guessed at around $1,000.

Look Here

Now for the winning lottery ticket......
