A6 is not used on the 2.5L and it is spliced to C7 on the 4.2L. C7 on the 4.2L is part of the Jeep ECM which you don't need.
So A6 is not used.
First check : Ign lps 15A fuse
D5 looks like it goes to the Jeep ECM and Ignition module. It also goes to the gauge package and indicator lamps. I think that D5 need 12 volts during crank and run. Look for another Yellow 12V+ that is hot in crank and run and splice into that. The diagram shows the following all spliced together with D5.
D5, ECM, Ign Mod, buzzer, defog, gauge pkg, tach, ind lps, emm. timer, fuel pump relay, heated O2, resistance wire to Alt.
