Wanna go wider,,,

I wanna go with a wider stance for my YJ than what it is now. I have new 11.50 tires, but thats not enough. I have some AR rims on it right now, don't know how much backspacing but I am looking at replaceing them with the black street locks or the rock crawlers. Is there anyway to order them with the backspacing to go a lil wider, or does anybody know of a rim that will do this for me? I have just always heard when u go taller, to go wider, so thats what I wanna do, and it looks a lil skinny right now anywase. Thanks.

Re: Wanna go wider,,,

Just measure the backspace you have now. Then call the company or local shops. I'm sure they will be able to help you with what you want.

But always remember. The farther you put the tire out from the bearing, the more stress it creates. But I wouldn't think it shoud be too bad for you since the tires you have are nowhere close to the monsters that some run on the stock axles.
