Tires?

Anyone know of some good offroad tires (not All Terrains) that won't wear too much on the street. Pro Comp Mud Terrains suposedly don't wear too much and are suposed to be good offroad so i am leaning toward them. Please reply.

Re: Tires?

I have been using BFG muds on and off road for years.
Wears pretty well on the street and performs well offroad.

Re: Tires?

Check out this page under the Tech section. Lots of good write ups and specifically the Dunlop Mud Rovers .

Re: Tires?

I've had All Terrains on all 3 of my trucks (2 came with them) and I hate them. I call them "No Terrains". But I love the BFG Mud T/A's. I've had them on my Bronco for almost 70,000 miles and they still have some tread left. I rotate them with every oil change, though.

Re: Tires?

From what you said you are looking for in a tire, I think the BFG MTs are probably exactly what you are looking for. They are argued to be the best street/mud tire out there.
