Re: O/T Parting the Red Sea

Is interesting reading...

But, as for me, I have no doubt the Red Sea parted when Moses raised and spread his arms - supposed scientific basis for it happening having been 'found' or not. His Word says it happened (Ex. 14:21) and that's enough for me.

God created the laws of physics and He can choose if and when He will make exceptions to them.

Re: O/T Parting the Red Sea

At least the author gives some credit where it is due...

"It would take the Jews -- there were 600,000 of them -- four hours to cross the 4.2-mile reef that runs from one coast to another. Then, in half an hour, the waters would come back," he said.

The Egyptian army that followed them drowned in the sea.

"I am convinced that God rules the Earth through the laws of physics," Volzinger told the Times.

I agree with UglyJeep... I wasn't saying it wasn't a higher power that didn't take care of that for Moses... I just found it interesting that they found a way God DID do it when it happened...

Re: O/T Parting the Red Sea

Not trying to start no wars here... Just getting bolder in testimony of my beliefs.

I'm not throwing no darts at my Jeep buddies... only the scientists who think they have to scientifically justify God's miracles. I think that's what makes it a miracle... it's divine intervention, and therefore not necessarily explainable in scientific or human terms.

I guess I should welcome anything that is supportive of the Bible; in that it undermines the naysayers who attempt to use science to impeach the Bible's credibility.

Sorry if I seemed to be launching darts at you.
