The Jeep would not Idle and thanks to this board it's purring again. Detail of problem here
Turns out the Automatic Idle Speed motor was dirty. Not so bad from looking at it but enough to cause the collar not to slide back under air pressure for the sensor to read. It unscrews from the throttle housing with 2 screws. I took the entire throttle housing off for cleaning and that worked out well because the 2 screws were TIGHT! A little solvent and a shop towel cleaned the carbon right off. Blew everything out with compressed air and hooked it all back up. Started right up.
BIG thanks to LEVE! You are the man. If there's any killer ROOT beer in germany I'll send ya one.
