Lift Questions

Hey all,

I am in the process of putting a 4" lift on the CJ. I need to replace the axle bumpstops because they are rotted. Do I need to use longer bumpstops with the lift or are stock sized ones ok?

Re: Lift Questions

Most of the time when you put on a lift kit you need to extend the bump stops. However Most good lift kits will come with the longer bumpstops. So you should not have to buy them. Unless you are piecing together a lift, and if you are doing that, I would suggest getting a kit that just has everything you need. It makes the job a lot easier, and there is a lot less homework involved.
