Bestop Tire Carrier

First off i'm new to this forum and it seems like a good one. I was a member or another forum for a couple of moneths and their rudeness began to get on my nerves. I've been hanging out around here for the past week and you guys seem to be good people.

Now for the question. I just got 33x12.5x15 tires and don't have anywhere to put them. I need a tire carrier. I already have a two hitch/receiver so i really don't want a new bumper tire carrier combp. Two receivers would look stupid IMO. I've been looking at the Bestop carrier and i like the price. Have any of you used it, had any problems with it? Thanks

Re: Bestop Tire Carrier

I had one for about 9 months. I really liked it. I tlooked good and was very convenient to use. Solid, no rattles.

I took it off and replaced it with a Garvin bumper/tire carrier because I needed a reciever bumper and wanted the extra carrying ability (jerry cans, HiLift, rack) that the Garvins have.

BestTop is a good unit if that is all you need. Good price too. Everyone I know that has them like them.

How do you like your Garvin so far? What was the cost?

Re: Bestop Tire Carrier

Love teh Garvin so far. Very well built. Good clearance, built in d-ring tabs. But not cheap. Like $575 with shipping. Unfortunately it was teh only one that had everything I wanted
