D44 axle questions
I recently aquired front and rear D44's from a Wagoneer. I want to retain the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern when I swap them under my CJ. For the front I think I can use Ford D44 knuckles, spindles, hubs, rotors, and such. Anyone know about this? Second question and more IMPORTANT...What is the best way to get 5 on 5.5 for the rear D44? Is a Scout axle the same width as the Wagoneer? Or, should I redrill the Wagoneer flanges and if so how do I do it since they have grooved holes to keep the studs from spinning? Thanks for any and all help.
