O/T Thieves

I finally saved enough to buy an inexpensive stereo for the Jeep (approx $300). Spent Sunday afternoon choosing components, spent all day Monday installing it. Wednsday afternoon the glass was broken, the dash was trashed, oil pressure guage was broken, part of the stereo and a large handful of tools were gone. Jeep was unattended in driveway in late afternoon for about 45 min. AAAUURRRRG!!! Couple days later I left my old oil draining bucket, the one that closes and has a pour spout, out by the garage because it was full and I was going to take it to the recyclers on my next day off. They took it, old oil and all. AAAUURRRRG again.

Just can't have nuthin' these days that they won't steal.

Just venting,thanks for listening.

Dude, that stinks. Sorry to hear about it. It's been said a bunch of times hear, there's no way to protect your stuff.
It's a shame they won't ever catch those people.

I've got a nice pioneer system mounted in my tuffy console and it locks, even with my soft top I've never had a problem.

Re: O/T Thieves

I hate criminals. I used to be big on stereo systems, but got tired of having them stolen. Now I just listen to factory stereos. I have never had one of those stolen. If I had one laying around, I would send it your way.

To get the picture to load you have to use the image button located on the new post screen. It is on the lower right where ist says "Instant UBB Code". Click "image" and insert your url. Like this:

Later,
Tom
