Gear Ratio Question

I just purchased a 94 YJ yesterday. It has a 3 inch rough country lift on it already. It really needs new tires. I am looking at the Mastercraft Courser MTs 32x11.50s. I have the 2.5 L 4 cyl and I have looked at all the gear ratio charts online and seen that they say I should be ok with my stock gears. Anybody else runing this setup? I have heard that the biggest you wanna go is maybe 31's, but then why would the chart say 32s are ok? ANy help would be appreciated, I need to get some tires on this thing fast. I wanna see what this thing can do.

Re: Gear Ratio Question

you'll be ok with the 32's.. your jeep has 4.10 gears and it won't be a dragster, but you should do juust over 60... if your lucky... ideally youd have 4.56's with the little 4 banger, but its an awefull lotta $$$ for such a little change
