No more costly overhauls!!

At long last a company has "perfected" Overhaul-in-a-can, and we can FINALLY quit tearing down engines and regrinding crankshafts! Yep......I just got a pop up this morning from JCW that shows a product that eliminates the need for tearing down an engine and overhauling it in the classic sense. Even for JCW, the claims that they make about the product are, well, a real eye-roller. Got a used car to sell? One that DRINKS oil? One that knocks and smokes? THIS new product is the answer! Ferget those pesky wrenches and all that grease and grime; that's yesterday's technology. Overhaul-in-a-can is for modern folks who value their spare time and don't really like getting greasy.

Re: No more costly overhauls!!

It's tempting to try that in my almost dead and badly smoking M38A1 engine. I wonder if the pellets will be compatible with the exhaust valves in the block though.

Like Rrich said a while back,
If everything in the JCWhitney catalog worked as good as it says, how often would you have to stop and drain the extra gas out of the tank?

Re: No more costly overhauls!!

I heard that a consortium of auto makers had bought up the patent on this old invention in order to suppress it, as it would ruin their business of replacing worn out automobiles. It is only now that the patent has run out, that manufacturors are free to produce this miraculous product.

Operators are standing by. Call NOW!

Re: No more costly overhauls!!

If I had heard of this two weeks ago I could have saved a lot of money. Oh and lets not forget all the time that would have saved by not having to pull the engine. Oh well live and learn. Might buy a some to use as a trail fix. Yeah that's it, rebuild your engine while you wait for the guy in front of you to get winched out.
