Try Jaffer's gauge diagnostic site.

Re: gauges!!!!

I'm having the same problem. got a pair of new fuel and temp gauges from jeepdoc.com. The instructions say they don't need the voltage regulator. The fuel gauge pegs to full when the ignition comes on. The temp gauge pegs to hot as soon as it starts to barely warm up.

I've gone through Jaffer's diagnostics page. I verified I am getting the correct resistance for the temp sender at the gauge. I'm beginning to think the gauges are just messed up or not matched for the senders.

any ideas?
