Used Explorer Pro-Comp 2.5\" CJ Lift worth $150.00?

Is a used Explorer Pro-Comp 2.5" CJ Lift (4 lift springs, 4 ES3000 shocks, 1 ES1000 steering stabilizer w/bracket) worth $150 plus shipping?

Seller indicates 4-5K mi on lift; 1k of it off-road.

Is this a decent riding lift? Is this 2 1/2" plus the Daystar 1" body mount replacement lift enough to put skinny 33" tires on my Scrambler? (I need to replace the body mounts anyhow, and I will be adding a T-18 in near future.) (Add'l weight considerations: I also have a full hardtop and will be adding a winch.)

Thanks!
R/ Jerry

Sounds good to me... I think you'll be ok with 33's running that setup... You'll definetly be stuffing them in there, though. Think about a 2" body lift or perhaps 3/4" over stock shackles to give yourself some room in your wells.

I believe you may be talking about my lift for sale. I had it on my CJ7 with the 1" daystar lift. I ran 32" tires, but could have easily fit 33"s. My shackles were 4" bolt to bolt which equates to an additional 3/4" lift. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Tom

I had the same lift on my CJ-7 and had no problems with 33's. It was a pretty stiff ride, but not punishing. I wouldn't be opposed to doing the same lift if I were getting another CJ. Also, the price sounds very fair. I paid a little over $300 for mine new from National Tire about 7 years ago at a Four Wheel Drive Jamboree. Haven't priced one for several years, but $150 is very fair.
