rotor thickness

I know there is two different rotors, but what is different. Are the outside thickness the same. am I going to new special pads. what years has the different rotors.

I'll take a guess your referring to 5on5.5" BRAKE rotors for a disc conversion? '79-'81 CJ D30s (and Scout D44s) used 1.125" thick rotors ($49) and '82-'86 CJ D30s used .875" thick rotors ($25).
