He He -

Whoever notices the board is down --- would you please post it here so everyone knows not to bother trying to log on?

Think of all the time we can save.

Re: was the board down for anyone else?

Coincidentally, I had a computer chick work with me on my system on Friday, and we took out a 40-foot end dump trailer load of cookies. The next day when the BBS was down I thought we had accidentally blamoed my system and dis-enabled the Off-Road BBS. I'm not too knowledgeable about computers so I had to get some help. Luckily, I trade labor with the computer whiz so the system help is already paid for. I recently put a new short block in their almost-new, super-duper-top-of-the-line, Lawnboy mower that they ran with the wrong two-cycle oil mixture and as a result they blew the engine good and proper. Re: was the board down for anyone else?

Here is a great little program that helps control cookies if you are using Windoze. My kill list is over 300 and has 3000+ kills, my keep list has only 12.

If something doesn't work right just empty the blocked cookies and start over It is still a good idea to empty your cookie folder every once in a while even with this but it sure helps control those malicious little

I tried loading the cookie wall but for some reason it wouldn't go. I'm saving this post to show it to the tech chick and see if she can fix it for me. heck, I KNOW she can
do it. She also showed me a pop-up preventer that is pretty good but it will only go in windoze 5.5 or better and I,m 5.0.

Dave I have good news for you
Give this URL to your computer chick and have her download MSN 6.0 so you can get rid of all those pesky pop ups. Sounds like she was going to download the Google pop blocker. i use that and it's very good.

MSN 6.0 download
