very not-good noise coming from jeep.

i dont have a clue what it is... but when i slow to an almost stop, my jeep makes this aweful clunking and grinding noise.

it only happens when decelerating, and only below 10mph.

not when rolling, or accelerating, just when slowing down...

and not just when braking... like i can slow down, and let go of the brake and it still does it...

i checked the xfer case and tranny, all full and working.

it isnt the rear, i jacked it up and let em spin and stop... nothing...

3 week old rear ujoints

i mean everything seems fine.... just alot of bad noise.

dirt/rock/sticks/debris etc. in drums, or some other moving part? perhaps aligned so that it makes noise when decelerating, but is in the proper direction not to make it when accelerating?

Check your wheel bearings on all 4 corners.

Check the front brake pads, sounds like you're ready for new ones.

front brakes all about a month old...

i am thinking it is most likely some debris in the wheels...
