Puegot Tranny question

I know, it is the worlds worst tranny in the world. I have to deal with it for a while.

I need help pulling the shifter out of the Transmission. There was a retaining ring with three bolts in it, I have removed that, I figured the shifter would pull out. Any hints

Re: Puegot Tranny question

Wow ..you've got no luck in responses here. I don't know this trans ...but I would imagine that there is some pivot pin/shaft that the shifter uses as a fulcrum. In the AX15 and AX5 it's a threaded deal that goes into recesses in the shifter. That is, it "pinches" the shifter somewhat. You've got to have something similar. Then again, this is from France (junque~)

Sorry that I can't be any REAL help to you.
