Re: new moderator??????

well dave..

i left the "nest" to earn my wings

just been
workin
wheelin
wrenchin

and in that order too

i have pretty much maxed out my jeep on trails that it is built to handle. the next step will be a D44 or better up front and SOA. i might go to 37's first to see how the D30 holds up.

i have tons of body damage, body armor in the rear, full cage, tom woods front shaft, solid draglink, diff guards, re-enforced stock skid, no front fenders.........

rolled it a couple months ago--dropped it straight up in a solid rock crack

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
so what's your story?

do we still have chat?

Re: new moderator??????

so how well did the D30, ford 8.8 setup run with 35 inch tires. did you add more body lift or just chop the fenders.

and welcome back

Re: new moderator??????

works fine
i have a 1" BL
i took the flares off and trimmed the rear body some and cut off all front fenders. i was hitting the front springs so i adjusted the turning radii- backed out the stop-bolts.

i have only spun one 297 cap on the 30 SO FAR
i will throw some 37's on it and carry plenty of spares

i am running a lot of 4.5+ trails here in AZ with lots of waterfalls that require either a winch or some heavy throttle to get up so i am putting it to the test for sure.

i give the 30 more credit then it gets. keep the jeep light as possible.
