O/T still no stinking internet, but good wheeling

all is well with the new move, but i am having issues getting connected to the internet... soon i should be back peserting everyone and flaming pat....soon...
all is well in sunny california.
I went wheeling is Los Coyotes with some locals.. It took 45 min to get there from my driveway.. awesome trails, good trail leader. He broke his pitman arm right in half. I welded it together, and it actually held all day. I also tore the steering box off the mount, then tore the mount off the frame (again). those tj welds really suck. looks like buying a weldeder just got figured into the moving budget. I have plenty of room.. everyone is invited to enjoy the sunny weather...

Hey Elusive...

Have you checked the weather forecast for 'Havenot' in the last day or two? http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics...IF/171458W.gif I'd say you got out of there just in time.

I lived in Havenot for 4 yrs - '93 -'97 and lived through a couple of good storms. I was starting to think Rt 70 was Hurricane Alley...

Good luck in Kalifornia... Did my first tour there in mid-80's... I'd go back, but for the people and the (anti) gun laws.

Glad to hear you made it ok, and like the others said not a moment too soon. Hope you enjoy it down there, I was stationed in China Lake for 3 years and know there is A LOT of good opertunity for wheeling right outside your door.
