Fitting 33s

I have a '97 TJ and would like to fit 33 X 12.50(or wider). what are some idea on how to fit it and how well would each handle off road and on road.

Re: Fitting 33s

My buddy ran a 2.5 inch rancho lift and 32x 11.5 tires on his tj. for 33's you'd probably want a 4" lift. As a personal preference I wouldn't go any wider than 12.5 in a 33" tire, too disproportionate to the height and funny looking.

YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH 3" MIN. WITH FLAIR RUBBING BUT 4"-4.5" WORKS BEST.......IM RUNNING RUSTY'S 3" LIFT WITH 1.75" LIFT PUCKS TO CLEAR 33" MTR'S AND TSL'S......
