Anyone have a TJ ORF \"Sport Cage\"

I am curious if anyone has installed an ORF Sport Cage in their TJ.

(I hope the link works!)

Unlike the factory setup, it looks like the ORF Sport Bar does not attach to the top of the windsheild frame. This means that the only thing holding the windsheild frame in place are the 2 Torx bolts on the sides. Is the frame still stable at highway speeds? Does it cause a water at the base of the windsheild? I am considering buying one but would like other owners opinions. Thanks in advance!

Re: Anyone have a TJ ORF \"Sport Cage\"

WHTTRASH on this board has it in his TJ. Me and Caver Dave helped him install it. If you do go with it, the three of us recomend the Floor tie in kit with it. Seemed like a real quality piece of Equipment. and I have never seen an easier, true bolt in kit of any kind. The hardest part was getting hte Factory stuff out. Make sure you have GOOD Torx bits and Tamper proof Torx bits to remove the Stock crap. I'll alert John to this thread and he can put his 2 in too.

Re: Anyone have a TJ ORF \"Sport Cage\"

man that cage is nice.........nice fit and finish...........it took brent, caver dave and i 3hrs to take out the factory crap in install the new cage.....like brent said get some good tamper proof torx bits and start to work.........the floor kit is a must it makes the whole cage very sturdy, even with a 270lb guy like me pulling and tugging on it after we did the install .........there are some taps that are attached to the runner bars that attach to the windsield to support it........my window is very stable now....better then before.....well got to get back to work hope this helped.
