rear discs, spongy pedal?

I just ordered a rear disc brake kit for my 84 CJ7. I also got the 1 piece moser axle shafts so I can do that at the same time, but thats aside the point. My question is if the brake pedal will be mushy now with the rear discs? I have heard that a corvette master cylinder works good as well as one out of an econoline 350 ford. I'm not sure what years though. Any idea on what master cylinder to look for or will one of those little in-line brake valve thingys do the trick? any input will be appreciated.

Re: rear discs, spongy pedal?

I plan on using an early 'vette master cylinder, and an adjustable prop valve for the rears. You should be able to set them up w/o having a mushy pedal, but if you have a mushy pedal, here are some troubleshooting tips web page
Also search back awhile, there has been some discussion on what has/hasn't worked for others.
