4wd Hardware Suspension Lift???

Has anyone installed or read any writeups on the 4wd hardware suspension lift for the YJ? I'm looking at the 3 1/2 in lift kit. How are the springs on road/off road. What is the maximum size tire I could run under this lift with no other mods. How would you rate it compared to comparable BDS, Skyjacker, or OME. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 4wd Hardware Suspension Lift???

the 4wdh lift is BDS if that helps you make up your mind..... It's a fine lift. You might check with DC4wd ( i think that's what it's called) over in Roanoke Va. He has an AWESOME deal on BDS. jus depends on what his shipping would be for you as compared to 4wdh which is closer to you. I'll see if I can get his contact info if you are interested. I'm talking under $400 for the 2.5" kit and not that much more for the 4"

Re: 4wd Hardware Suspension Lift???

I did a search on BDS springs. Seems to be a decent spring with an excellent warrenty. Does the BDS warrenty cover the springs in this kit. Also, how is the rest of the 4wd hardware suspension lift kit? Are the shocks any good? Anything you would replace in this kit? (ie. swaybar extensions for swaybar disconnects?) I am planning on using the 3 1/2 in. lift kit with a set of moore greasable shackles. Boomerang in the rear. I'm not really new to this board. I've been visiting it and finding excellent information for the past three years. I did however take some time off and forgot my user name and password. Thanks for all your help. You guys are the best.

Call DC at DC4WD he loves to answer these kinds of questions, even if you don't buy it from him. (but you should )
