727 tranny Q\'s??? Lockup or not? Ozark......

Anyone have pics of the input shaft on a Jeep 727. I need to verify the difference between a lockup and non-lockup tranny. I know about the splines, but a picture would seal the deal.

Thanks,
Tom

Ozark, you used to have pics of this didn't you?

Found the pics in this post:

Is there any disadvantage to using a lock-up tranny on a trail rig? I have a non-lockup TF727 in my Scrambler and am considering another TF727 for my CJ7, but may be the lockup version. I assume that the tranny will only lockup in 3rd gear and only above a certain rpm. Please enlighten me on the virtues of non-lockup vs lockup converters used for trail rigs.

Thanks,

I personally have nver had a lock up clutch fail in a 727.. on a trial rig it wont ever lock up so it shouldnt really be an issue. It will run/act just like a non lock up trans

sorry I didnt respond quicker, I have been busy.
