Carbonfiber CJ hood?

Has anyone seen one or know if one is made? I have seen carbon Kevlar but they come primered and I would like to have the raw look even if it is a bit rice-rocket (ha)

Re: Carbonfiber CJ hood?

I've never seen or heard of one, but thats not to say one doesn't exist or that one couldn't be made. I'm assuming that you're just going for the look of it. If thats the case, pop the hood off and take it to a prof. air brusher. They could probly easily paint the design on your steel hood for less than it would cost to have a carbon fiber hood custom made for you.

Re: Carbonfiber CJ hood?

i cant think of the company that sells them, but i do know that it is the company that makes the jeep "hummer body kit" just do a search for that and you should get some good results. i used to work in a bike shop and the only carbon kevlar i ever saw was black and yellow tho, so i dont think that would look to good "raw" on a jeep, but it could jsut be some clored kevlar that i saw, i dunno.

Re: Carbonfiber CJ hood?

The reason I was wanting CF was: no rust less chance of cracks like fiber glass and would just look a bit different. Im not into fancy paint, I let mother earth pinstripe my ride.
