Update: found post - making diff cover from IFS pc

A few months ago there was a post on taking a diff cover from an IFS axle and cutting off the ends and keeping the beefy center section.
Anyone remember it?
Show me the link please.
Thanks

Update:
I just found it.

Just about any ford front rear will have a heavy cover. IFS or straight axle.

Re: Can\'t find post on making diff cover from IFS pcs

I have 44's front and rear. And since it is dark out and I don't feel like going out with a flashlight - are the front and rear diff covers the same? I want/need a heavy duty front and rear diff cover.

Normally, the front has a heavy cover and the rear has a tin cover. But saying that you never know who changed what to what.
