Can a stock TJ handle Badlands?

Hey, I have a mostly stock 2001 TJ and am planning a trip to the Badlands in Attica, IN. I have never been there and was wondering what to expect. Are there any trails that I can run my stocker on without having to be dragged through? Just curious.

Yup, a couple went with us to the badlands Bash in May and made it just fine. Run the "Green" trail and the "Creek" run. Some of it looks intimidating, but it's all good! The sand dunes look fun, but not really my cup of tea (not enough power in my worn out 258).

Just invest in some sway bar disconects so you can easily dis-connect/re-connect them and air down. Tow hooks and a 30' strap (with loop ends, not hooks) too. My brother brought a 20' stap when we went and we just had no use for it. Make sure all your stuff is tied down as well.

Another note, bring waterr in a cooler for the trail. Soda just explodes ! have fun!

Yes plenty for you to run,

Talk to JBTATER and Newbie4x4 they have both run stock jeeps there this year.

First time I was there I was stock except for my 31"at tires and other than a exaust incident that occured because I was not agressive enough and ramed the tail pipe into the ground and the proceeded to back over it.. I had no problems. I believe it is more inportant to have good driving skills than a bunch of mods.. That of course is why I am modding away.

LOL Rio.

Yes you can run the Badlands. You may not be able to own it, but you can run enough to have a great time. I'm straight stock except for some 31x10.50 tires. I have nothing to compare against, but I'm sure they made a big difference. Good tires and a good guide and you should be fine.
Enjoy.
And, come with us in October......
