Pit arm

With a 3"suspension lift I have need to mount a drop pit arm?
CJ7 1980 with manual stering.

I had manual steering with 4.5 " of lift on my CJ5. I went without the drop pitman arm for a year and it was very driveable, but putting on the drop pitman arm made driving much nicer.

I would go ahead a put the drop pitman arm on. Food for thought, out of magazines they costs around 50-65 dollars, but on ebay sometimes you can catch them at a lot cheaper price. I'd hold off until I found a sweet deal and then take advantage. As Jeep projects go, everyone needs to save as much as they can!
